Land Drive — Help Us Put Down Roots

Give Rescue Dogs a Permanent Place to Heal

SoCal White Shepherd Rescue Foundation is ready for the next major step in our mission:
A permanent home of our own.
Every dog we rescue needs more than food and shelter. Some need time to decompress. Some need medical recovery. Some need behavioral support and a quiet place to learn that they are safe again.
Right now, we make that happen through foster homes, temporary space, boarding, volunteers, and an incredible community of supporters.
Land changes everything.
A permanent property would give us the stability and space to build a better future for the dogs who depend on us.
OUR LAND DRIVE
We are raising funds toward the purchase of suitable land for the rescue, and we are also looking for property owners who may be interested in donating land directly.
There are three big ways you can help:
DONATE TO THE LAND FUND
Every contribution moves us closer to owning a permanent rescue property. $5, $25, $100 or a major gift—it all helps us put down roots.
OFFER PROPERTY
Do you own vacant land, a ranch, kennel property, acreage, or another property that could potentially support rescue operations? We would love to talk with you.
CONNECT US WITH A LANDOWNER
You don’t have to own property yourself to make a huge difference. An introduction to a landowner, developer, estate representative, business, or foundation could be the connection that changes our future.
WHAT A PERMANENT PROPERTY WOULD GIVE OUR DOGS
A Place to Decompress
Not every rescued dog is ready to walk directly from a shelter into a family home.
A controlled, quiet environment gives frightened, stressed, neglected, and displaced dogs time to settle before we determine their next step.
A Place to Recover
A permanent location would give us dependable space to coordinate medical recovery, medications, supplies and follow-up care.
Better Support for Foster Families
Our fosters are a critical part of the rescue.
A central property could provide a reliable location for supplies, training, dog introductions, meet-and-greets and foster coordination.
More Efficient Rescue Operations
Food, crates, medical supplies, equipment and other necessities could be organized in one dependable location instead of being spread across temporary locations.
Long-Term Stability
Most importantly, the land would belong to the rescue.
Instead of continually depending on temporary space, we could invest in improvements that serve rescue dogs year after year.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO DONATE AN ACRE TO HELP US BUY ONE.
A permanent rescue property can be built by an entire community.
Small donations add up.
Monthly donors create dependable momentum.
Businesses can sponsor the campaign.
Major donors can fund larger portions of the purchase.
A donor may choose to provide a matching gift that encourages the community to give.
And somewhere, there may be a landowner with the property that becomes our permanent home.
Every one of those people is part of the Land Drive.
Donations are processed through SCWSRF’s existing PayPal donation page. After giving, email SCWSRF@gmail.com with “Land Drive,” the name used for your donation, and the donation date so we can earmark your gift manually. You can also contact us about your gift.
HAVE LAND?
We want to hear from you.
The property does not necessarily need to already have kennels, buildings or other rescue infrastructure.
We are willing to evaluate both vacant and improved property.
Potential properties will be reviewed for factors including:
Location • Acreage • Zoning • Access • Utilities • Property condition • Cost to develop • Long-term operating needs
Not every property will be suitable for animal-care use, and accepting donated property does not happen automatically.
We will perform appropriate due diligence before accepting property or committing Land Drive funds to a purchase.
OTHER WAYS TO HELP
Maybe you can’t donate land—but you have skills that can help us turn land into a rescue.
We welcome conversations with people and businesses willing to contribute professional services, including:
Real Estate • Legal Services • Surveying • Engineering • Construction • Grading • Fencing • Utilities • Environmental Services
Professional expertise can be just as important to this project as financial contributions.
LAND CAN BECOME A LEGACY
A charitable gift of real property may provide tax advantages depending on the donor’s individual circumstances.
Donors considering a property or other major gift should consult their own legal and tax professionals. SoCal White Shepherd Rescue Foundation cannot provide individual tax advice or guarantee a particular tax result.
Donors may also discuss recognition preferences with us, including remaining anonymous whenever legally and practically possible.
HELP US BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT
We’ve helped dogs get out of shelters.
We’ve helped them recover.
We’ve watched frightened dogs learn to trust.
We’ve watched foster dogs become family dogs.
Now we’re working toward something that can strengthen all of it:
A PLACE OF OUR OWN.
Whether you give $5, help fund an acre, introduce us to a landowner, donate professional services, or offer property itself, you can be part of building a permanent future for rescue dogs.
